Il Bacco is a thoughtful blend of wines from the Fattoria Coroncino various vineyards

Altitude & Exposition

From 200 to 350 ma.s.l. with exposures varying from North-West, North-East and South-East

The vineyards from which we obtain Il Bacco are predominantly rich in clay, without presence of stones

Except for the new plants where we take care of the vines with greater attention under the rows, the vineyards have not been fertilisazide since 1993 tilled, with spontaneous grass covercrop, minimal management of the soil under the rows and manual single and double Guyot pruning

Vinification and aging

Grapes arrival

It follows our protocols of soft pressing and flotation of the must, mainly selecting the second part of the pressing, separated from the free-run must


Fermentation

Spontaneous in stainless steel and concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts


Maturation

In concrete and steel tanks, always on the fine leesuntil the final blend

It's handled on the spot, leaving the various masses in their vessels to preserve the consistency and generosity of the sip. The use of a "good measure" of press wine aims to extract greater substance and character from the grape variety, giving it an interpretation we reserve specifically for Il Bacco

Organoleptic profile

On the nose, rich notes mixed with white flowers, typical of a lively Verdicchio

Lively on the palate, with a pleasant fatness and herbaceous counterpoints, ending in a long and slightly almondy finish
